Dream It, Be It is a Career Support program for Girls giving them the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence and abuse. We work in small groups in a classroom setting to provide girls with the information and resources they want and need to be successful. We cover topics including:

 

• Career opportunities

• Setting and achieving goals

• Overcoming obstacles to success

• Moving forward after setbacks or failures

• Managing stress

 

This curriculum was launched in 2015 and since then more than 23,000 girls around the world have participated.  Locally, SIP has presented the Dream It, Be It program to girls at Meadowbrook Middle School After School Education Program, Abraxas Continuation High School, and A Step Beyond (a non-profit academic support program).  Each group received a DIBI presentation tailored for the students' needs.
